As a journey designer, I create expansive experiences to open the heart and spark imagination. As a mother of four, I understand the deep need for mothers to reconnect with their own passion and creativity, as well as be held by a greater community. This space is dedicated to journeys specifically designed to nourish and inspire mothers and children, in collaboration with inspiring artists, mentors and mamas.

The first mother-daughter journey is a collaboration with one of my most inspiring and loving mentor mamas, permaculture + integration guide Sibyl Buck and her daughter Puma Rose. Sibyl approached me with this idea because she and Puma, years ago, experienced a profound workshop at Esalen led by a mother-daughter duo that helped them establish an unshakable foundation of depth and connection for their relationship during the inevitably turbulent journey into womanhood. The tools they received also helped cultivate the fertile soil needed for them to support and encourage one another in their own individual passions and dreams.
If you are looking to strengthen your foundation through this threshold moment, join us for a truly unique and inspiring 6 part cumulative workshop.
Through a deep dive into practices, science, ceremony, and fun, you and your daughter will discover language with which to find each other when the connection is tenuous, and applicable tools for support in balancing your mood and well-being chemicals day to day. Each of our meetings constitutes a chapter in a personal workbook that you’ll walk away with. Each chapter holds a key to deepening a lifelong intimate bond with your precious little one; charting a course through the rocky road of adolescence that preserves and strengthens the mother and daughter love you’ve built together.
Guided by our needs, feelings, and senses, each mother daughter pair will walk the path as we make it, finding the unique seed of our Mother Daughter Love tradition and planting it a literal garden of our own making. We’ll practice tending it the way gardens have been tended since the beginning of humanity by mothers and their daughters, reigniting the tradition of teaching growing food and flowers as a medium for the mother-daughter bond.
Recognizing that we carry the mantle of matriarchy through these times, we will create safe sacred space and a ceremony which marks the turn toward womanhood by our girls.

*Vetiver is a grass used for centuries to stabilize slopes and choke fire. Originating in northern India and Africa and known by many names including Khus, Vetiver has 13-18 foot roots and the roots are used for fragrance and basket making.Milkweed is a common flower whose leaves are the only food that monarch butterfly caterpillars eat. So mama monarchs lay their eggs on milkweed leaves. Milkweed of many varieties used to grow by the side of every road and the edge of every field until the systemic poisoning employed by municipalities to clear weeds along the side of roads killed it off in many places. You can make plant dye and fiber or cordage from milkweed. Just as importantly, the population of monarchs has dropped at alarming rates in recent decade, and growing milkweed helps support the majesty of monarch butterflies who bring inspiration like art made by nature.
Geranium is a flower which comes in seemingly endless varieties of color, leaf shape and growth habit. It is so easy to grow in Southern California that you can just drop a piece of it in the dirt and it will grow a bit lush green plant for you. Certain varieties are used for essential oils and it’s been used for healing and skincare. It’s easy to propagate and a great plant to help anyone who wants to see flowers in their midst but is worried about keeping plants alive!
Lemongrass is delicious used to flavor soups, stews and drinks. It’s also used as medicine for anxiety pains and fever. It propagates easily and is drought tolerant. It is a clumping grass that is green and beautiful and drought tolerant.
Oregano is a well known and well loved herb used for flavor aroma and medicine for ages. Its spreads easily in the garden and attracts pollinators.

THE TAPESTRY OF HUMANITY
AT THE HEART IS WISDOM AND LOVE SHARED BY MOTHERS AND DAUGHTERS
After traveling the world for successive careers in fashion and as a touring musician, Sibyl Buck wanted to hunker down somewhere with a good vibe and get into community. Now, after 16 years in Topanga teaching yoga and doing permaculture design, Sibyl guides integration sessions and leads workshops on everything from breathing to slope stabilization from her geodesic dome, The New Paradome.
Puma Rose is a student of psychology with a background in childcare. Puma currently cares for two tween girls and attends school part time. Puma is passionate about fostering community within small groups.
I am so honored to support Sibyl and Puma by offering nourishing food, sound journeys and collaborative creative practices for you and your daughter — and what a gift to get to bring my own daughter and be supported by community as we, too, navigate this transition.
My guided journeys are largely improvisational and ever evolving, weaving in sound, breathwork, vocalization and heart-centered listening. Together, we explore creativity and becoming - we tap into ancient wellsprings of imagination to activate purpose and listen for guidance for ways to express our authentic gifts.
